About Us
ISO Marshalling are seeking suitably qualified heavy plant operators to join our log marshalling team in Portland. ISO Marshalling has a long history in the industry and has log export marshalling operations based in Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania. As a Qube company ISO Marshalling is also part of a large network of logistics service providers operating throughout Australia.
About the role
The role involves operating a Sennebogen Material Handler (MH) in a log yard and to be trained to perform other related tasks as required in and around the yards. The MH is used to unload logs from truck to stack and back to truck from stack for shipment to the port for export. This is a 24/7 operation and operators can expect to work weekends as well as public holidays and to be rostered to work at night as required.
These are full time roles and can involve opportunities for travel to other ports. Our preference is to seek candidates with log handling experience and those who might have a background in the forest industry but full training will be provided to candidates who have had experience operating other types of heavy equipment.
The key attributes for required for these positions include:
- Must hold a current HR Driver’s License
- Proven heavy machine operating experience
- Be available to work as required on weekends and at night
- Be a safety conscious individual
- Good work ethic
- Positive attitude
- Maturity
All candidates must be prepared to undertake pre-employment drug testing and regular random testing.
