We have positions available for Log Scalers to join our Log Marshalling team based at our Mount Maunganui checkpoint operations. You will be responsible for the accuracy, integrity and efficiency of measuring export logs by bar-coding and measuring logs arriving into the Mounts log yards daily. This role is very hands-on and requires a candidate who has great teamwork skills, and is accurate in their work. Having the log scaling module is preferred but not required.
The key skills required for this role include:
- Good computer skills
- Good mathematics
- Work well within a team environment with good communication skills
- Ability and love to work outdoors
- Great can-do attitude
